Being in the RHED program and completing co-op work placements has allowed me to not only experience different areas of the field of recreation and apply what I am learning in a hands on environment, but also travel and live abroad. I have used these opportunities to apply the knowledge I have aquired from my studies to my job position. Studying recreation and health has only strengthened my desire to live a healthy life style and pursue a profession where I am able to help and work alonside others to better the community.

Education has always been an important part of my life, and entering into the Recreation and Health Education (RHED) program has been one of the best decision I have made thus far. I am continuously surrounded by active, healthy likeminded people who support each other and challenge each other to be better individuals and try new things. My education further motivates me to get outside, explore, and do things I love in places that make me happy.
